1925 Indian Scout

Indian Scouts such as this bike were a very common sight in Australia during the roaring 1920s. Roger from Canberra bought his 1925 37" cubic inch (600cc) Scout to Parker Indian for a total restoration. He stipulated that he wanted the bike to be returned to as new condition as he intended to ride the bike regularly.

To impoved perfomance and reliability a later Indian Scout Linkert carburetor has been installed in place of the original Schebler carburetor.

This model still incorporates a manually operated total loss oiling system. The oil pump is operated via the hand pump mechanism on the tank.
