1928 101 Scout - SOLD

1928 101 Scout. This motorcycle was purchased new from Ivor Dennis, the Indian dealer in Bairnsdale Victoria, the current owner's grand father.
He rescued it from a farm as a wreck, 41 years ago. It received a slow but steady restoration by Darryl Woodhouse and his father, Ivor's son.
It was first used in the Indian Motocycle Club of Australia's Gypsy Tour 80th Anniversary run in 2008.

Engine is the 600cc (37") but has been stroked to 730cc, and it feels like it when you ride it.

It has the engine number CG1226. Bike has done about 1000 miles since then. The bike runs and rides beautifully.
